I was born and bred in Zimbabwe, and it was there that I learned to use a sewing machine at the tender age of 4. It is therefore little wonder therefore that I developed a love for sewing, that has stayed with me all my life, and is now the basis of my little business.
I have come along an interesting path of working as a Home Economics teacher, running a coffee shop, and even teaching leatherwork to pensioners. But somehow each of these added something to my experience and is of benefit to my present work.
And after trying so many things, I have now finally settled on doing embroidery by machine on towels and other items that I make myself.
I have collected and developed many designs that are largely African in theme, so offer a wide choice to suit all tastes and situations.
My towels and other soft goods are just so easy to pack in the tiniest of suitcase space, so make ideal souvenirs for visitors to South Africa.
