I produce glazed pottery utensils such as, casseroles, bowls, platters, mugs, beaded sawdust fired plant pots, small to large beaded vases, beaded decorative plates.

Yongo's Pottery started in 1997 after I had spent 14 years working for other potters.

My work differs from other potters' work as it is inspired by ethnic culture and apart from the styles, colours and designs, I also incorporate beads into the clay. Most of my sawdust fired pots can be used for vases and plant pots as they are waterproof.

I also produce functional ware that is glazed. It is all microwave, oven and dish-washer proof.

It is also made in the same ethnic designs and colours, combining utility with beauty to add an elegant African touch to any table.
