My doll making started about 20 years ago after my children gave me a book of doll-making patterns. It took some while to learn all the different aspects of producing dolls, each with an individual character.

Being handmade, I have to hand paint the face of each doll and consequently I can vary expressions and skin tones to ensure that each is different.

While doll making is fun and a challenge, I needed to add something to my doll business to make a more comprehensive range of products, especially for when dolls were not selling quickly enough. That is where the Barbie clothes started, and not too long after, Ken's clothing was added to my range.

Now I also make other doll's clothing and accessories, including furniture and carrycots.
