Little House started 20 years ago. The name originated because my original dresses were all cottage style.

I specialise in kiddies' cottage style dresses using calico and incorporating appliqué work on the bodice, and contrasting plains or prints for the borders. I also use the traditional African print or Shwe-Shwe, mixing the many designs and using bright primary colours for the appliqué work.

Cottage style clothing is for children for 6 month to 11 years including:

Pinafore dresses

Sundresses with embroidery

Cotton shorts and tops

African print cot quilts with appliquéd animals

Reversible denim jackets with little houses on them.

My range also includes pinafore dresses in African prints that are very popular with overseas visitors as they can be worn with T-shirts or long sleeve tops.

Then there are sundresses with embroidery and cotton shorts and tops. Coming shortly is a range of reversible denim jackets.
